Soulful Sounds in Lubbock

Had a great evening in Hartford last night. Wonderful music, cutting humor and winning best dressed guy was a pleasant surprise. I can thoroughly recommend this for a great night out and an even better reason to dress to impress.

This is the second time I’ve attended, and as always, it’s an enchanting event. Elasea & Sadiki pull you into their magical world as if in a warm embrace. You leave their show at a higher vibration.

Fabulous and exciting performance! What a voice and what an incredible base performance. What a beautiful couple. They made us all feel at home in their presence. Their stories, humor, and warmth were wonderful.

There is so much to take and enjoy from this experience! It’s so much more than a concert. Beyond great music from classical R&B to contemporary pop played and sung by Sadiki and Elasea, true aficionados, there’s witty banter and cajoling with the audience. There are snacks provided, attentive ushers, and a well stocked cash bar. We all had the rare opportunity to come together across cultures, ages and political perspectives to enjoy an evening of love, music and laughter. Plus, for those who choose to, it’s an opportunity to dress to impress and so fun to see what others are wearing along with Elasea and Sadiki who were of course the portrait of Speakeasy elegance. He is an accomplished bassist and her voice seems to have unlimited range. As you’ll hear when you attend they are also heavily engaged in reputable charities serving the underserved. Just pure goodness all around. I highly recommend you treat yourself to some of what this experience offers. So highly recommended!

Such a beautiful voice and bass!!! I had a wonderful time with my friends. The venue was nice and we love getting a chance to get all jazzy up in our 20”s flapper dresses. It was so much fun. The staff were super friendly, snacks and drinks were a hit. You have to go to experience this wonderful duo.

Their "Bass & Voice" makes for a fantastic evening! I've traveled the world, but NEVER experienced such class and style! I recommend Acute Inflections because of their PERFECTION!

Went to the show in Atlanta for my birthday and it did not disappoint! The “snacks” were great, the ushers were very courteous, and the performance was phenomenal!! Inclusion of the audience kept you engaged and it was fun!! Great couple and great show! And the fact that they are doing charitable work as part of the show is a plus!

The show is unique and highly entertaining. Not only do they put on a great performance, they include the audience into every moment. I recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

I saw the advertisement on Facebook wasn’t sure what to expect. Me and my husband enjoy jazz events so I booked it. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful jazzy voice of Ella and the skillful bass sounds. Loved the entire performance. Very good tasteful comedy by the couple complimenting the show. Will definitely see them again and invite others.

It was a wonderful midweek night out listening to Sadiki and Elasea. They’re both very talented individual artists, combine that with the playful banter, word play, and jazzy renaissance; gives their performance that five star elevation. We really enjoyed the original songs and welcoming audience participation, with a few of their renditions 😊. Without giving too much of the show away, I really appreciate how they subtly kept reminding us of the heartbeat of their mission, choose LOVE.💕 I highly recommend making time in your schedule for this “experience “! What an amazing evening at Acute Inflections! 🎶 We attended the R&B & Jazz experience to celebrate my husband and a friend’s birthdays, and we had a wonderful time! The music was beautiful, the atmosphere was grown and classy, and everyone looked amazing in their 1920s-inspired attire. It was incredible how just two talented performers could fill the room with so much music and energy. This was our first time experiencing Acute Inflections, but it definitely won’t be our last! Beautiful music, great atmosphere, and a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. We will be back! 🎶

This is an experience, not a show. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance, the interaction, and the ambiance. From the venue, to the sound, to the attire, I was very pleased with the evening. I was also impressed by the emphasis on giving back to our community.

I have been trying to get to experience Acute Inflections for 3 years and finally got to in the city of Newport News, VA. They did not disappoint. They were worth the wait. They were all I expected and more. I am a lover of music and laughter, the coexistence of the two in their show was amazing. If I were to describe them in two words, it would be Jazzy and Classy. If you see them coming your way don’t miss the train they are on. 🙂 Thank you two for making my evening memorable.

A fun, beautiful music, amazing voice of a night. Best part...String Bass! Anyone that takes a song from The Cure and transforms it Bluesy and Jazzy, is a must see in my book.

If you’re wondering whether this show is worth seeing, stop wondering and BUY THE TICKETS. I went alone, newly divorced, and wasn’t sure how I’d feel sitting by myself. Within minutes, none of that mattered. The energy in the room was infectious, the performers were incredibly talented, and the entire experience made me feel like I was part of something instead of just watching it. I laughed until my cheeks hurt, found myself completely caught up in the music and storytelling, and walked out feeling lighter than when I walked in. It wasn’t just entertainment—it was an experience. In a world where so many nights out feel the same, this one was unforgettable. I left inspired, smiling, and already thinking about who I could bring with me next time. Do yourself a favor: gather some friends (or even go by yourself like I did), keep an open mind, and let yourself get swept up in the magic. You’ll leave happier than you arrived. We saw Acute Inflections in St Louis and it was a great evening. They are funny, funky, soulful and have wonderful interactions with the audience. And quite a few folks dressed for the part. Fun time!

I didn’t know what to really expect because the tickets were a spontaneous purchase after seeing a snippet of their back n forth banter. Little did I know, that my wife and I were heading to one of the most original comedy shows, either of us have ever seen. Elasea’s voice is phenomenal and comes to life with Sadiki’s Bass skills. Which by the way, falls second only to his quick and witty jabs aimed at not only his wife but audience members alike. We will definitely be attending their future shows #NYKnicks4eva!!!!

First of all, their stunning stage presence is unforgettable. Their jaw-dropping style is only outshined by the fact that they're both such genuinely beautiful people. Then she started singing... and I was completely captivated. It almost felt as though even her speaking voice was music. She has a rare, effortless presence that draws you in from the very first note. Their banter is quick, witty, and absolutely infectious. What makes their show so special is the way they seamlessly blend incredible musicianship with gentle, laugh-out-loud comedy. The balance feels natural and never forced, making the entire performance both entertaining and deeply engaging. I was so impressed that I would absolutely travel out of state to see them again. A beautiful couple with a beautiful story, immense talent, and a truly unique performance. They are completely fascinating, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Loved everything about this show - not only is the music terrific, the message they share, the comedic aspect (especially the contrast of Sadiki's serious dryness to Elasea's warm sauciness) the era style, and the charities they help. Don’t let the fact that they are a duo trick you into thinking it won’t be as good as a full band, these two are fantastic, talented, and I highly recommend you see them for yourself!

I had the privilege of attending their elegant performance in Portland. They compliment each other; she has the vocals of an angel and he can play that bass! The combination of music and comedy set the stage for a lovely evening. This is a performance you don’t want to miss!

One of the most unique experiences I've ever had. The balance of music and comedy was so different and awesome. An emotional journey I wasn't anticipating. So many intentional touches from the complimentary fans, snacks and beverages, album giveaways, ticket discount codes, etc. You can feel the passion and the chemistry between Sadiki and Elasea in their music. You can feel the love they have for their craft and the passion of make real change in the world, sharing love, and bringing people together. Musically they are blending genres and are so well polished. 💅 As a fellow creative I felt inspired and encouraged that I could one day also book my own tour. 15/10. I would LOVE if they came back through Boise.

It’s a night of beautiful El’s silky, perfect pitch voice complimented by Sadiki’s bass playing, comedic repartee between the duo (entertaining combination of his deadpan comedy and her facial responses) and a willing audience to participate! And a message of “leave all differences at the door!” For us it was a chance to get dressed up in Boise to go with the 1920’s glamour theme of the show! Enjoyable for both young and seasoned folk who appreciate the sounds of old and new soul, comedy and storytelling. If they come to your town, don’t miss the show!!

We had such a great time in Portland and seeing so many people dressed up was a treat. When seeing Elasea and Sadiki walk down the center aisle, I didn’t realize they were the performers. My comment to my sister was, “Wow, they look like royalty.” Their musical talents and sense of humor are beautiful and entertaining! Looking forward to seeing them in the future!
