Last night’s Soulful Sounds: Love & Laughs was such a treat. Acute Inflections delivered an incredible live experience—her vocals were smooth, powerful, and full of soul, and his upright bass created this warm, layered groove that elevated every song. Together it felt effortless, like a conversation in music. And the whole night had this Harlem Renaissance kind of energy—classy, creative, soulful, and alive. Like stepping into a room where art, culture, and Black excellence are the main event. The vibe was intimate but still fun—polished and personal at the same time. Their chemistry and audience engagement made the evening flow beautifully, with the perfect blend of music, storytelling, and laughs. I left smiling (and honestly wishing the set was longer). If you get a chance to see them, go. Highly recommend.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of attending Acute Reflections in Wilmington, and it was such a wonderful experience. The music was fantastic, and what really made the show special was the way that Elasea & Sadiki played off one another with such easy, fun-loving banter—it added so much charm and joy to the evening. It felt intimate, fun, and genuinely entertaining from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to attending again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great jazz paired with laughter and heart.

There are no other shows like this one. The venue was in a church so unfortunately they did not serve alcohol. That's the only thing I would have added to a very impressive show. However, that bass, and her voice was nothing short of a glass of cabernet. I left feeling very much serenaded.

This was such a great experience! I went to the show in Lubbock with my mom and we had an absolute blast. These two are hilarious, down-to-earth, genuinely good people. The fact that they refused to sell their souls to Hollywood and are out here promoting love, doing things their own way, and creating real change in this world is everything — and so incredibly respectable. Music and comedy in one show? Hell yeah! 🥰 And the fact that we were all dressed up made me feel like we’d stepped into a different era — a classier time — and I loved every second of it. We loved the music and her incredible voice!! Although too much of their show felt like a sales pitch for different organizations they support, and we had already just paid a $50 ticket to see them!! So that was disappointing. We were saying "more singing and less talking" in our group! But overall very loveable and talented Duo
